Who should own and not own a gun?

In my opinion no one should own guns unless you are police officer or your in the military. This is why these gun laws are created, to keep guns out of the hands of criminals. Many people say that laws should be passed to limit gun ownership. I say absolutely, there are a lot of people that  should not own guns. Owning a gun is just an easier way for these criminals to harm people. The world should be a peaceful place to live in unfortunately  its not. The Second Amendment was written at the time when owning guns was nothing out of the ordinary and used to protect there land and for hunting, now owning a gun is more for revenge, anger, and to kill innocent people.
